Virtual Ergonomic Assessment Instructions

Ergonomic Health Solutions is now offering virtual ergonomic assessments to help you stay safe while achieving a healthier workspace. Follow these simple steps to schedule and prepare for your virtual assessment with Cathy Phillips, PT, CEAS III.

Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

  • Call us at 214-477-4263 to schedule a Remote Ergonomic Assessment, or request an appointment online. Our team will contact you to finalize the details.

Step 2: Prepare Your Device

  • You’ll need a camera-ready device, such as a smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer with an attached or built-in camera.

Step 3: Enable Permissions

  • Ensure that your device’s camera and microphone permissions are enabled to allow for clear video and audio communication.

Step 4: Set Up Your Workspace

  • Position yourself in your home office or workspace for the appointment, where Cathy Phillips can guide you through adjustments and evaluate your setup.

Step 5: Connect to Your Appointment

  • Prior to your appointment, you’ll receive a text or email with a secure link. At the scheduled time, click on this link to join your virtual session.

Step 6: Submit Your Intake Information

  • Download and complete the intake form, including:

    • Your height

    • Areas of discomfort

    • Photos of you in your workstation:

      • Left, Right, Back, and Top Views (Full Body)

      • Optional: Underside of your chair

Additional Tips

  • Check your internet connection to ensure stability during the call.

  • Restart your device before the session to close background processes that could slow your connection.
